Hey guys, Molly here with a short but sweet announcement!

We recently acquired Irish Bitcoin exchange, BitIreland, for an undisclosed amount. This marks our second acquisition, following our acquisition of Coinfloor, the UK’s longest running Bitcoin exchange, in October 2021.

CoinCorner CEO, Danny Scott, said, “We’re excited to welcome BitIreland customers to CoinCorner, who will now have access to our wide range of Bitcoin and Lightning services, including free and instant Lightning payments, our new Send Globally service and lots more features coming soon.”

Based in Dublin, BitIreland launched in 2018 to help ease the introduction of as many people as possible to the world of Bitcoin.

I’m a BitIreland customer, what do I need to do?
BitIreland customers will be notified via email about how to migrate their account across to CoinCorner in a few easy clicks, but if you do have any questions, issues or just want to say hi, you can contact our support team!

Welcome to CoinCorner, we’re happy to have you with us! 🧡
